    Howdy,
I would like to buy one of the SquareWear v1.1c boards and a starter kit. I can’t pay by PayPal. I won’t agree to their terms of service. Can I send you a money order for payment? I have no problem with you holding onto it for a few days to be sure it clears. I want to show your board to members at the Dallas Makerspace, so I hope I can purchase it.
    Good day

I’m relatively new to electronics, been playing with Arduino for a year or so now. I want to drive a strip of I2C-controllable LEDs with one of these. Would I need an external power supply, or is there a way I can step the 3.3v power up to 5v? Presumably if this is possible I’d want to use an external battery hooked up to the battery connector, but it would be nice if the SquareWear would charge the battery as well.

Does your LED strip have to run on 5V? Some LED strips can run on either 3.3V or 5V. If you can post a link to the LED strip I can give you a better idea. In any case, it is certainly possible to use an external power source.

    Hi there,
I am new to prototyping and as part of my project I am required to build a bluetooth 4 (BLE) connected pulse oximeter sensor (to monitor heart rate and oxygen level) and skin temperature sensor devise which connects to a smart phone and viewed with an app. Would you be able to advise me how to go about on this please? Which sensors can be compatible for this? And how to configure it etc. . Many thanks Nihan

i am having trouble with my square wear mini (latest version.) My mini is not working or its my computer. The program keeps saying it cannot communicate with the device and the device is unavailable. I have tried rebooting and everything but it doesn’t work. Plz contact me ASAP

SquareWear Mini does not have built-in USB-serial chip, instead, it simulates USB in software. If you just plug in a USB cable it won’t present itself as a USB device. To enter bootloader you need to 1) turn off power; 2) press and hold the pushbutton while turning power back on; 3) release the button after 1 to 2 seconds after the power is turned back on. This will allow SquareWear Mini to enter bootloader and present itself as a USBasp device.
